The Rekem CHALAKA BOY
was sculptured and hand-embroidered with love, humor, and Chutzpah in 2019.
This creation was inspired by these colorful, friendly,
and charming characters who convey
the happiness and innocence of the Jerusalem scene.
Parents cut the hair for the first time of their little boys at the age of three.
They usually celebrate this significant event in Miron.
The little boys start to wear Kippot and Tzizit and will begin to attend Cheder.
The picture is turquoise, blue, red, and yellow.
The colorful hair is a trademark of the Chalmer family.
It portrays the creative blood with the colors of the rainbow,
which flows in their brains.
The picture can serve as an excellent conversation piece
and a beautiful children’s gift.
The masterpiece is 35×35 cm.
